Introduction
This
is a tripod based on H G Wells The War Of The Worlds, in particular,
the tripod pictured on the CD cover of Jeff Waynes Musical
version of The War Of The Worlds released in 1978. You

The
"martian" moves (or is supposed to move) by lifting one
leg up and moving that forward, and the repeating it with both other
legs. However, when I made this I wasn't very experienced with NXT-G,
and so it didnt walk properly. Instead it just wobbled. However
I intend on rebuilding it sometime soon, and program it to bend
down and attackThunder Child! I will also make a video of it in
action and post it to youtube. It
uses the ultrasonic sensor to look for 'Human victims' and then
it shoots them with its heat ray (light sensor) while crying, "ULLA!!!".
No one is safe...
